Geneva - The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a partnership with Applied Science University in Amman to share experiences and implement training programs and joint activities for students of the Faculty of Law within the University.
This partnership aims to raise legal awareness of human rights and international humanitarian law in Jordan
The MoU includes the launching and implementation of activities as part of the Mock Trials program for the defense of human rights. Another program serves as an internship, where students are trained at Euro-Med Monitor’s partner institutions in Jordan. The MoU also includes launching the Legal Clinic program to qualify law students and enable them to provide legal advice to university students.
This partnership aims to raise legal awareness of human rights and international humanitarian law in Jordan, particularly within the Faculty of Law at the Applied Science University, as well as to integrate young people in the process of defending their rights, make a positive impact, and learn about current human rights issues in the region.
